About Me

Hi, I’m Benji! My love for photography started when I was a kid playing around with my mom’s camera. I had no idea what I was doing back then—I just loved capturing the world the way I saw it. When I got my first camera for my 12th birthday, it completely hooked me, and photography quickly became a part of who I am.

I’ve always been drawn to the outdoors and exploring, which is why nature and architecture became my favorite subjects. There’s something freeing about walking into a space with no plan, just looking for the right angle or detail to turn into something special. I love the challenge of capturing beauty in unexpected places—whether it’s a plain building, a tucked-away alley, or a breathtaking mountain range. I aim to capture the beauty in both the ordinary and the extraordinary. Photography lets me slow down and really see the world, and I try to share that through my images.

Lately, I’ve been taking my photography more seriously, pushing myself to grow and share my work with a wider audience. My dream is to one day own a gallery where people can come and experience my work in person. Whether they just want to enjoy it or feel inspired to take a piece home, I’d love to create a space where my photography connects with people.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my work—it means the world to me. I hope you enjoy seeing the world through my lens.

Where It All Began

One of the first photos I ever took with the camera I got for my 12th birthday. I look back on this image with so much fondness because, for me, it marks the moment my passion for photography truly began.

  • I’ve been shooting with Canon cameras since the very beginning. I started with a Canon Powershot digital zoom, then upgraded to a Canon Rebel T5. Now, I shoot with a Canon 77D and absolutely love it. As I continue to grow, I look forward to upgrading and refining my gear whenever the opportunity arises.

  • I’m currently living in Los Angeles but was raised in Texas. Soon, I plan to move back to my favorite city Austin, TX with my amazing fiancée Hannah, and our crazy little pup Daisy.

  • During my freshman year of college, I competed in the Red Bull Can You Make It Challenge, traveling from Rome to Amsterdam in a week with no money, no phone, and only what I could carry in a backpack. From almost getting arrested in Milan to staying in a five-star hotel in the Swiss Alps, it was an unforgettable adventure I’ll always cherish.
